A.C.T.

(Arts Conservatory for Teens) is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides comprehensive and innovative after school and summer arts education programs that uniquely attract and inspire teens and youths. Our arts activities offer a proven alternative for at-risk teens and youths empowering them to overcome challenges and help them achieve success in school and life. Our programs prepare teenagers for high school graduation and college, by offering academic support, arts education and training, theatrical productions, career development, healthy living, and leadership development activities with on-going mentoring relationships that increase confidence and encourage success in all areas of their lives.

ACT is education to graduate youths from high school and enroll them into an higher education institution.

Students who participate in the arts for at least three hours a day,
three times a week for at least one year are:

* 4 times more likely to be recognized for academic achievement.

* 4 times more likely to win an award for writing an essay or poem.

* 4 times more likely to participate in a math or science fair.

* 3 times more likely to be elected to class office within their schools.
